Bisbee is unique, because it was a mining town dating back to the 1800's that is now a community full of artists and other creative people. It is rife with history, both bad and good, and located very close to the US-Mexico border. It was build to house the miners of a The Queen Mine, a copper mine, which is next door where you can still descend 1,500 feet below Earth's surface. The town is built into a canyon making it a maze of hills and stairs to take you where you need to go. Much of the architecture of the town is from the 1800s, which makes it feel like you are walking back in time through a wild west town.
